Placement assistance

Every student gets placement assistance — that is what 100% placement assistance means. It is support for all, not a job for all. We do not promise a specific salary, a specific number of interviews, or placement at any named company, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

What is included

  • A place in the monthly placement drive, held every third Saturday
  • The readiness programme every second Saturday — mock interviews and preparation
  • CV review against the specific roles you are targeting
  • Portfolio review, so your project work is presented the way a reviewer will read it
  • Access to the vacancy pool employers send directly to the Samyak network
  • Guidance on which roles realistically fit your background and which do not
  • A place in the next drive, with coaching, if you are not selected in this one

What is not included

  • Any guarantee of a job, an interview, or a particular salary
  • Placement at a named or partner company
  • Applying to jobs on your behalf
  • Support before you have completed the course and its project work
  • Visa, relocation or overseas placement assistance

Preparation, not the certificate itself

RKCL conducts the RS-CIT assessment and RKCL issues the certificate. We prepare you for it.

That distinction is worth stating plainly because it is a common place for learners to be misled. No private institute can award RS-CIT, and anyone implying otherwise is either confused or hoping you are. The registration and examination fee go to RKCL separately from your course fee.

Check which certificate your notification names

RS-CIT and CCC cover almost the same ground. They are awarded by different bodies, and that is the only difference that matters when you are applying for a post.

RS-CIT is named in Rajasthan state recruitment. CCC, from NIELIT, is what Delhi and central notifications more often list. Taking the wrong one is a real cost in time and fees, so bring the advertisement in and we will read the eligibility clause with you before you enrol on anything.

Timed papers, in class

The last module is entirely mock examinations under exam timing, reviewed section by section.

Sitting one badly in a classroom is useful; sitting one badly on the day is not. By the end you should know the format, the pace and — more importantly — which two sections you personally lose marks in, with enough time left to fix them.

If you have never used a computer

That is a normal starting point here and the first two modules assume nothing at all.

If exam pressure on top of first-time computer use feels like too much at once, our Computer Basics course covers the same foundations without a deadline attached, and taking it first is a sensible sequence. We will say so if it looks like the better fit rather than enrolling you on the longer thing.

Questions

RS-CIT (RKCL Rajasthan State Certificate in Information Technology) — frequently asked questions

Who conducts the RS-CIT examination and issues the certificate?

RS-CIT is a Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited programme, run with Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University. RKCL conducts the assessment and issues the certificate — no private institute can issue it. What we provide is preparation to the published syllabus, including timed mock papers. Be cautious of anyone implying they can award the certificate themselves.

Is RS-CIT useful outside Rajasthan?

Its formal recognition is in Rajasthan state recruitment, where notifications name it specifically. Outside the state, employers generally recognise CCC or the NIELIT O Level instead. If you are applying to Delhi or central government posts, check the notification wording carefully before choosing this over CCC — bring it in and we will read it with you.

How is RS-CIT different from CCC?

The syllabuses overlap heavily — both cover computer fundamentals, Office, internet, digital payments and cyber safety. The difference is who awards them — RS-CIT is RKCL, CCC is NIELIT. Which one you need depends entirely on the recruitment notification you are applying against, not on which is better.

Can I take this with no computer experience at all?

Yes. The first two modules assume nothing and start at the power button. Batches run in whichever mix of Hindi and English the group is comfortable with, and three months is a deliberately unhurried pace for people starting from zero.

Where do I sit the examination?

At an RKCL-authorised centre, and the assessment schedule is set by RKCL rather than by us. We will help you understand the process and the timing, but the registration and the fee go to RKCL directly and are separate from your course fee.
