Placement assistance

Every student gets placement assistance — that is what 100% placement assistance means. It is support for all, not a job for all. We do not promise a specific salary, a specific number of interviews, or placement at any named company, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

What is included

  • A place in the monthly placement drive, held every third Saturday
  • The readiness programme every second Saturday — mock interviews and preparation
  • CV review against the specific roles you are targeting
  • Portfolio review, so your project work is presented the way a reviewer will read it
  • Access to the vacancy pool employers send directly to the Samyak network
  • Guidance on which roles realistically fit your background and which do not
  • A place in the next drive, with coaching, if you are not selected in this one

What is not included

  • Any guarantee of a job, an interview, or a particular salary
  • Placement at a named or partner company
  • Applying to jobs on your behalf
  • Support before you have completed the course and its project work
  • Visa, relocation or overseas placement assistance

The project is where candidates lose ground

Ask anyone who has marked O Level and they will tell you the same thing. Theory papers are prepared for. The practical and the project are not, and that is where the marks go.

Candidates arrive at the viva with a project they assembled quickly and cannot explain — where the logic lives, why they chose that structure, what they would change. An examiner establishes that in about two minutes.

So project work is a module here rather than a final scramble, and the deliverable is something you can defend rather than something you can submit.

A real programming course that happens to have an exam

The O Level syllabus covers genuine ground — web development, Python, databases, IoT concepts. Treated only as exam material, it produces a certificate and little capability.

We teach it as the subjects they are, then prepare specifically for the exam format on top. You should finish able to build a website and write Python that works, not only able to answer questions about them.

Who issues what

NIELIT conducts the examinations and issues the certificate. We prepare you. Registration and examination fees go to NIELIT separately from your course fee.

Worth saying plainly because it is a common place for candidates to be misled. No private institute issues an O Level certificate, whatever the signage says.

Before you enrol for a specific job

Recruitment notifications differ, and they change. Some accept O Level, some name other qualifications, some require a degree regardless.

Bring the advertisement in and we will read the eligibility clause with you before you commit twelve months to it. That conversation costs nothing and is worth considerably more than an assurance in the abstract.

Questions

NIELIT O Level — frequently asked questions

Who conducts the O Level examination and issues the certificate?

NIELIT conducts the examination and issues the certificate. No private institute can issue it. What we provide is preparation across every module, the practical work and the qualifying project. Examination and registration fees are paid to NIELIT separately from your course fee.

Is O Level equivalent to a diploma or a degree?

It is a foundation-level qualification within the NIELIT scheme and is recognised for a range of government posts. It is not a degree. Where a recruitment notification specifies an acceptable qualification, read that notification's exact wording rather than relying on a general equivalence claim from anyone.

How is this different from your general programming courses?

The syllabus is fixed by NIELIT rather than by us, and the assessment includes practical and project components with their own marking schemes. Our Python or web development courses go deeper in a single direction and are shaped around employability rather than an examination. Which is right depends on whether you need the certificate.

Where do candidates usually lose marks?

The practical and project components, consistently — not the theory. Candidates prepare for written papers and treat the project as an afterthought, then cannot answer viva questions about their own work. That is why project work has a full module here and is not left until the end.

Can I take O Level while studying or working?

Yes, and many do. It runs across twelve months with weekday evening and weekend batches. The duration is set by the syllabus rather than by pace, so the realistic commitment is steady attendance across a year rather than an intense short burst.
