Course
The standard entry diploma for office and computer work — fundamentals, Office, accounting basics and the internet, taught as practical work rather than as a syllabus to memorise.
8 modules · 12 months
Deliverable: A formatted multi-page report with styles and a table of contents, a mail-merged letter run, and a presentation built around a single argument.
Deliverable: A spreadsheet that takes raw monthly figures and produces a summary with lookups, a PivotTable and a chart, with validation that stops bad entries.
Deliverable: One month of sales, purchase, payment and receipt vouchers entered into a company you created, closed out to a trial balance you can explain line by line.
Deliverable: A small multi-page site written in HTML and CSS and published to a public URL, which you can show in an interview.
Every student gets placement assistance — that is what 100% placement assistance means. It is support for all, not a job for all. We do not promise a specific salary, a specific number of interviews, or placement at any named company, and you should be wary of anyone who does.
A diploma is only worth the work inside it, and twelve months is long enough to do real work rather than a tour of menus.
So this course is organised around four things you finish and keep: an office document set, a working spreadsheet, a month of books closed out in Tally, and a small website live on a public URL. Every module feeds one of them. At the end you have a certificate and four things to show, which is a better position than a certificate alone.
This is an institute diploma. Samyak issues it and it is recognised across our network — it is not a government certification, and we would rather say that plainly than let the word “diploma” imply otherwise.
If your job application specifically names a government-issued certificate, the one you need is CCC or the NIELIT O Level. Bring the notification in and we will read the exact wording with you before you enrol on anything. That five-minute check has saved people a year of the wrong course.
People starting from a standing start who need a recognised qualification and a year to build it properly.
If you already use a computer comfortably and only need Office skills, our MS Office course covers that ground in a fraction of the time for a fraction of the fee, and we will say so rather than sell you the longer thing. If you know you want to write code, DCA is a reasonable foundation but not the destination — ask us about the programming track instead.
It does not make you a programmer. The web module is genuinely useful and you will publish a real page, but HTML and CSS are not programming languages and this course does not pretend the gap is smaller than it is.
Nor does it prepare you for a specific government examination. It is a broad practical diploma, and the breadth is the point.
Questions
DCA is the one-year foundation diploma covering fundamentals, Office, Tally and web basics. ADCA is the advanced year that follows it and goes further into programming, databases and design tools. If you are starting from scratch, DCA is the right entry point; ADCA makes more sense once these foundations are in place.
It is enough for entry-level office, data entry and accounts assistant roles, which is exactly what it is designed for. It is not a programming qualification. If you want a developer job, this diploma is a reasonable starting point but you should plan on a specialist course afterwards, and we will tell you which one fits.
DCA is an institute diploma, so the certificate is issued by Samyak and recognised across our network. It is not a government certification. If a specific employer or application requires a government-issued certificate, look at CCC or the NIELIT O Level instead, and bring the notification in so we can read the requirement with you.
Yes, and many students do. The first module assumes nothing — it starts at the power button. The pace over twelve months is deliberately unhurried for exactly this reason, and batches run in whichever mix of Hindi and English the group is comfortable with.
A basic computer course covers fundamentals and Office in about two months. DCA takes a full year and adds Tally, web basics, database work and a set of finished projects. If you only need everyday computer literacy, the shorter course is better value. If you need a diploma for a job application, take this one.
Three details is all we need. A course advisor will call you back.
A real beginner course for adults who have used a phone but never a computer for work — files, Windows, internet, email, typing and staying safe online, taught without assumption.
The four applications every Indian office runs on, taught around the tasks you will actually be judged on rather than as a tour of every menu.
Tally Prime taught through a full simulated financial year — vouchers, inventory, GST, TDS and payroll — so you finish having actually kept a set of books, not just clicked through menus.
The certificate a great many government job applications ask for, taught as exam preparation with full-length mocks rather than as a general computer course that happens to mention CCC.
