Where .NET actually gets you hired

The JavaScript stacks get the attention. .NET gets the enterprise work — banks, insurers, government contractors, large product companies — and it pays well because fewer candidates chase it.

That is the honest case for taking this over MERN. It is not the more exciting choice and we are not going to pretend it is. It is the more reliable one in a particular and sizeable part of the market.

The object-oriented module is the one to take seriously

Everyone wants to reach ASP.NET Core in week three.

The people who struggle later are the ones who skimmed interfaces and dependency injection to get there. Almost everything the framework does — how a controller receives its dependencies, how you test anything, how a project stays workable past twenty files — assumes you understood that module. It is the difference between writing C# and writing a maintainable application.

Deployed, not demonstrated

Two of the four projects must be running at a public URL.

“It works on my machine” is not a finished piece of work, and the gap between a local build and a live application — configuration, connection strings, secrets, logs — is where most beginners discover what they did not know. Better to discover it here.

Choosing between the stacks

If you are genuinely undecided between .NET, Java and MERN, do this before you enrol.

Open ten job advertisements in Delhi NCR for the role you actually want. Count the stacks. That local, current count is worth more than any opinion we could give you, and if it points somewhere other than this course we will tell you so.

Full Stack .NET — frequently asked questions

Is .NET still worth learning compared with MERN or Java?

In Indian enterprise hiring — banking, insurance, government contractors and large product companies — .NET demand is steady and the salaries are competitive. It is less fashionable than the JavaScript stacks and that is arguably an advantage, because the supply of candidates is smaller. Choose it if enterprise work appeals; choose MERN if startups and product companies do.

Do I need to know C# before starting?

No. The first two modules build C# from types and control flow upwards. If you have written any language before you will move faster, but the course is designed to be entered without it. What matters more is willingness to work through the object-oriented module properly rather than skimming it.

How is this different from the Full Stack Java course?

Same shape, different ecosystem. Java uses Spring Boot, Hibernate and the JVM; .NET uses ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework and the CLR. The concepts transfer almost completely. Pick based on the companies you want to work at — look at ten job advertisements in Delhi NCR for the roles you want and count which stack appears more.

Will I actually deploy something?

Yes, twice. The second and third projects have to be running at a public URL, not on your laptop. Deployment, configuration and reading logs from a live application are covered in the last module because "it worked locally" is not a finished project and interviewers know it.
